The Job of a Lifetime

And so it begins.


The website went up today seeking applicants for employment in what can only be described as "The Job of a Lifetime". The following is info from the website:

"Frazier's Neck is a 130 acre, privately owned island situated near exclusive Bald Head Island in Southport, NC. It is currently being developed into a holistic sanctuary and environmental education resource preserve, promoting excellence in GREEN environmental practices.


We are seeking to fill the position of Director of Coastal Area Management.

Duties would require the collection of data on local wildlife, water fowl, indigenous fish and flora, maintenance and upkeep of the blueberry grove and the planting of various plants and tree saplings. Catch and release surf fishing will be required for the collection of data on local fish populations, cycles, and habits. Accurate upkeep of logs relating to collected data and maintaining a blog of weekly experiences.
This is an on site 4-5 1/2 days a week position with occasional 12 hour days.
Compensation: This is a salaried position of (+/-) 100k annually.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON."
